Land on this coast is advertised as Freehold/HGB, and this site uses the same word. For a foreign buyer the registered title is HGB, held through an Indonesian company, renewed in place and granted afresh at the end of the cycle. Indonesian freehold itself, Hak Milik, is reserved for Indonesian nationals, and the two convert into each other depending on who buys.
